Singer

Trent is a multi-talented individual with experience in music, dance and theatre. Basing his style around jazz and R&B, Trent has a soulful and rich tone that is backed up by his wide vocal range, allowing him to sing most ballads and jazz songs with ease.

With a Tiktok following of over 50,000 and boasting 3.6 million likes on his videos, Trent is no stranger to being in the limelight. Yet, Trent's desire to transition to music is one that we are so excited to support, and we hope to give him a platform that allows him to showcase his talent to the extent that he deserves.

Band

Amberhill pride themselves on creating a sound that is a fusion of dreamy ambient soundscapes, lush post-rock breaks, and odd time rhythmic passages. Amberhill was first conceived in Singapore through a self- motivated challenge to write, record, and produce an EP from scratch in 250 days. The end product, ‘Songs From Summer’ was released in June 2017 and received features on popular media outlets, sites, and radio stations.

The band has played at multiple venues in Singapore, Japan and Australia. As they look to experiment and explore a greater diversity of sound choices, we are ecstatic to be able to showcase Amberhill on our stage.

Magician

Collier Ow is a self-taught magician who never ceases to amaze both virtual and live audiences with his masterful sleight of hand and cardistry. A specialist in close-up magic, Collier draws you in with his charm and humour, leaving you wowed and surprised. Collier has performed for numerous live events, and always seems to be able to one-up with previous performances.

Besides magic, Collier is also a highly gifted musician, and will be performing as part of the Jazz Trio for Meraki. A true savant, it is no wonder that he is named after the equally talented Jacob Collier (we’re just kidding).

Band

Paper Divers comprises of Jonathan Yip, Jared Yip, Sarah Lim, Diane Teo and Regan Wong. Heavily influenced by the sound of Owl City, Death Cab for Cutie and other bands, their songs are a euphonious collage of sounds set against scenes of quarter-life angst, spiritual wandering, existential dread and sometimes plain surrealism.

Having mixed and produced their own original songs using a variety of instruments, including wine glasses, Paper Divers are embarking on a series of live performances, including performing live at the Esplanade Concourse on August 1st. We are excited and pleased to have them kick off this new phase of Meraki.

Band

Charmaine and Ryan are a soulful and refreshing acoustic duo that put a fresh spin on songs past and present. Through their wonderful blend of styles and tones, there is no shortage of talent shared between the two.

Also known on TikTok as 'revuhrie', Charmaine has more than 44,000 followers, with 1.5 million likes on her videos. Supported by Ryan's ability to play both piano and guitar, the two are a formidable music powerhouse when put together.
